Rosa Randolph Stancil, 91, of the 4800 block of Shafer St., died April 29, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Stancil was born in Pitt Co., N.C., and was the widow of George Ben Stancil.
Survivors include one daughter, Marga S. O'Carroll of Norfolk; three sons, George E. Stancil of Clarksville, Tenn., Benjamin W. Stancil of Norfolk, and Jimmie H. Stancil of Eastpoint, Fla.; three sisters, Mamie R. Anderson Ballinger of Greenville, N.C., Carrie Randolph Pope Ramey of Chesapeake, and Emma Adele Randolph Horton Perry of Chesapeake; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday, May 4, 1995, at 6 p.m. by the Rev. Frank Drake in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, and a graveside service will be Friday, May 5, 1995, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Pollard Family Cemetery, Crisp, N.C. The family will receive friends Thursday after the service at the home of her daughter, Marga S. O'Carroll, 2201 Cromwell Drive, Norfolk.
