Felicitas M. Montero, 79, of Surigao del Sur, Philippines, died Saturday, April 29, 1995, at her home.
Mrs. Montero was born in the Philippines and was the widow of Juan R. Montero Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Patria Diaz and Maria Clara Ambray, both of the Philippines; four sons, Juan Montero Jr. and Juan Montero III, both of the Philippines, and Dr. Juan Montero II, well-known Hampton Roads surgeon and founder and medical director of the Chesapeake CARE Free Clinic, and Carlos Montero, both of Chesapeake; one brother, Julian Murillo of Daly City, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 10, 1995, in the Philippines. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Chesapeake CARE Free Clinic, 1001 Sparrow Road, Chesapeake, Va. 23325. Information provided by Oman Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
