Eastern Region officials tabled discussions on improved regional football and basketball scheduling prior to their monthly meeting Monday.
After a special ``sharing session'' between district chairmen Monday morning, region officials opted to have the district chairmen further discuss the issues in their own districts, calling for a meeting of district representatives next Tuesday.
The Eastern District, the region's smallest district, is requesting help in scheduling games, and district representatives have indicated that if they don't receive necessary help they would ask the Virginia High School League to consider redistricting the region.
``We wanted to get more information to our districts and from our districts,'' said region chairman and Churchland High principal Raymond Hale. by CNB
