Billie L. Mencini, 62, wife of Tony Mencini for 41 years, passed away May 1, 1995.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in Kings Grant for 33 years. Billie received her masters in Reading. She taught in the Virginia Beach School System and, until last month, was volunteering at Kings Grant Elementary.
Survivors include Mark, Monica, Jeff and wife, Lisa and son, Jacob.
Services will be held at the Virginia Beach Community Chapel of Laskin Rd. at 2 p.m. on May 6, 1995, and will be followed by a ``Celebration of Life'' Social at the church.
There will be visitation at the family home, 621 Timberland Trail, Virginia Beach, on Friday at 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday after the church ceremonies until 11 p.m. Food will be provided, and all friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
