PABLO M. PADILLA

Pablo Morante Padilla, 62, of Southleaf Drive, died April 29, 1995, in Norfolk.

Mr. Padilla was born in Malasiqui, Philippines. He was retired SKC from the U.S. Navy after 20 years and also retired from Xerox Inc., Norfolk. He was a member of St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, past secretary of P.A.C.T., past president of Philippines-American Veterans, past president of Pangasinan Association, founder and past vice-chairman of the Council of United Filipino Organizations of Tidewater, and member of Samahang Tagalog.

Survivors include his wife, Quirina ``Coring'' Padilla; three sons, Raul P. Padilla and wife, Maeflor of Virginia Beach, Gerardo P. Padilla and wife, Darren of Norfolk, and Randy P. Padilla of Virginia Beach; one sister, Andrea P. Perreras of the Philippines; and several other relatives.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted Saturday, May 6, 1995, at 10 a.m. by Father Anselm Ober O.S.B. in St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, in charge. A Christian Wake Service will be held Friday, May 5, 1995, at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today and Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
