Deborah Childers Hamilton, 38, of the 100 block of West Lane, died Tuesday, May 2, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
She was born in Portsmouth, and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Martin Hamilton. She grew up attending St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Norfolk. She worked in the office at Food Lion in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include two daughters, Renee' Martine Hamilton and Ricki Martina Hamilton, both of Virginia Beach; her parents, Donald J. Childers Sr. and Martha Hinton Childers of Norfolk; a sister, Donna C. Catalano of Tustin, Calif.; her twin brother, Donald J. Childers Jr. of Nevada City, Calif.,; and her grandfather, Henry D. Childers of Fairhope, Ala.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, May 5, 1995, in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 1445 Norview Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513. Cox Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
