Gladys R. Hunt of the 2100 block of Burnside Place, a homemaker, died May 1, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Mrs. Hunt was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Robert A. Hunt Jr. She was a member of United House of Prayer for All Peoples, Virginia Beach, and the Female Usher Board (NU)2.
Survivors include two daughters, Kaye H. Shuford and Faye H. Payton; two sisters, Josephine R. Knight and Rachel R. Ward; and brothers, Obediah Riddick Jr. and Wilbert L. Riddick Sr., all of Chesapeake; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy J. Riddick and father, Obediah Riddick Sr.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in United House of Prayer for All Peoples, 4426 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, by Apostle C. Sutton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk.
