E. Lola Brown, 61, of the 5500 block of Finespun Last, a retired hairdresser, died May 4, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Brown was born in Charleston, W.Va., and was retired from Rudy & Kelly Hairstylist after 30 years. She was a member of Hyde Park Free Will Baptist Church, Norfolk, and Women of the Moose Chapter (NU)157 and had earned the Friendship degree.
Survivors include her husband, R. Carlton Brown; two stepdaughters, Darlene Scarborough of Norfolk and Tammy Pinkham of Bath, Maine; two stepsons, Charles Brown of Virginia Beach and Daniel Brown of Bath, Maine; a brother, Norman Kinder of Huntington, W.Va.; and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Henry Napier. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, and at the residence of Mrs. Norma Williamson, 5740 Susquehanna, Virginia Beach, at all other times.
