Eddie L. ``Baba'' Parker Sr., 62, of the 1200 block of Reservoir Ave., a retired truck driver, died May 3, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Parker was born in Norfolk County and was retired from the City of Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Parker of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three daughters, Ruth Williams of Decatur, Ga., Gloria Futrell of Richmond, Va., Debra Ampey of Brooklyn; one stepdaughter, Ann Barnes of Norfolk; two sons, Eddie ``Skip'' Parker Jr. of Suffolk and Wayne Parker of Brooklyn; a sister, Lessie Stevens, and a brother, Walter Parker Jr., both of Portsmouth; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a very devoted friend, Lessie O. Spruill of Norfolk; one aunt, Mary McDonald of Chesapeake, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, by the Rev. J.R. Briggs. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing will begin at noon Sunday in the funeral home. The family will be at the residence of Lessie Stevens, (NU)1 Carrington Court East, Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service.
