Davies G. Seacrist, 76, of Poplar Point Court, died May 5, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Seacrist was born in Hansford, W.Va., and was retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief boatswains mate. He was also retired from the ABC Board. He was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach Masonic Lodge (NU)274, AF & AM; Scottish Rite Bodies and Khedive Temple of Shrine.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel R. (Hager) Seacrist; a daughter, Lori Anne Skipper of Virginia Beach; a son, D. Gregory Seacrist Jr. of Richmond; a sister, Betty S. Waldron of Richmond, W.Va.; two brothers, Reginald W. Seacrist of Suffolk and Robert Johnson Seacrist of Navato, Calif.; four grandchildren, Michelle Grubbs, Corey Seacrist, Dustin Seacrist and Zachary Skipper; and one great-grandchild, Cassidy Grubbs.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by the Rev. Joseph French. Entombment will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park with Masonic rites. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
