Frank D. Lawrence Stadium was demolished last week to make way for
the new I.C. Norcom High School. Only the rubble remains. The
stadium was built in 1939. Last to come down were the 5,500-seat
football bleachers, right. The baseball portion of Lawrence Stadium
was demolished in 1992. Norcom, Wilson and Churchland will play
football games this fall at Churchland Stadium.
