JOHN T. JOHNSON

John Thomas ``Teeny Boy'' Johnson, 62, of the 5000 block of Portsmouth Blvd., died May 4, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital. Mr. Johnson was a native of Chadburn, N.C. and a member of Alliance Christian Church. Mr. Johnson was also a Navy veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a Mason. During his life, Mr. Johnson was employed as a musician, a recording artist, a custom builder, a real estate broker, a national recruiter for Globe Life, an airplane pilot, a sales representative for Amway and Brighter Vision, Inc. and also as manager of F.W. Woolworth.

Survivors include a son, David Lee Johnson of Chesapeake; a brother, Charles D. Johnson of Chesapeake; three sisters, Delores J. Taylor of Chesapeake, Jeanne J. Banks of Suffolk, and Alice Johnson Wilkins of Chesapeake, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, May 7, 1995, at 3 p.m. at the residence of Delores J. Taylor, 2916 Tyre Neck Road in Chesapeake. Burial will be private. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23513. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland is handling arrangements.
