Emily Marie K. Hodan, 91, of the 700 block of Atley Lane, a retired secretary, died May 7, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Hodan was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the widow of Joseph Edward Hodan. She was a member of Star of The Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. She was a member of the Warrensville Senior Citizen Club and was the past president of the African Violet Society. She was an avid breeder of parakeets.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice H. Carlson of Virginia Beach; a son, Edward J. Hodan of Cleveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A Christian Wake service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, May 8, 1995 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by Father Raymond McIntyre. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
