Creek. And in downtown Norfolk, residents marked the 25th
anniversary of Earth Day with a festival.

World in Virginia Beach. The Eco-Fashion Show at Town Point Park in
Norfolk featured clothes made of organic cotton and recycled
materials. Though Earth Day actually was April 22, Norfolk and
Virginia Beach observe it on the first Sunday in May because of the
weather.
