James Wilson, 65, of 1549 N. Muddy Creek Road, died Saturday, May 6, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
He was the widower of Doris Brotherton Wilson, and was a native of Hoboken, N.J. In April 1985, he retired after 22 years with the Planning Department at the City of Virginia Beach as a Grant Specialist. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one son and his wife, John D. and Rosemarie Wilson of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; and one grandson, Robert Carl.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, May 10th, at 2 p.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Richard J. Yates. The family will receive friends in the Maestas Funeral Home Baltic Avenue Chapel tonight from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Building Fund, P.O.
