Mrs. Vesta Allen King, 88, died Monday, May 8, 1995, in Cheatham County Rest Home in Ashland City.
Mrs. King was the daughter of the late William and Della Allen. She was a graduate of Hillsborough High School and was a resident and business owner in Norfolk, Va., for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Greta King Street of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; granddaughter, Sheila Patterson of Nashville, Tenn.; nieces, Coye Allen Lindow of Plymouth, Wis., Lillian Allen Johnson of Efland, N.C.; nephews, Lawrence Allen of Burlington, N.C., and Swain Allen of Mebane, N.C.
Funeral services and burial will be in Efland United Methodist Church, Efland, N.C., at 11 a.m. Thursday. Her remains are at Walker Funeral Home, Hillsborough, N.C.
