William Earlie Boone, 83, of Norfolk, died May 7, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Mr. Boone was born in Norfolk and was the widower of Mrs. Otelia Bryant Boone. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Berkley and a retired member of the Diamond-Simpson Usher Board and the Fellowship Choir.
Survivors include one son, Mr. LeRoy Boone of Chesapeake; six daughters, Mrs. Joycelyn Bullock and Mrs. Carlene Thorbs of New York, Mrs. Jacquelyn White and Mrs. Delores C. Joyner of Chesapeake, Mrs. Beverly Harris of Virginia Beach and Ms. Ira Boone of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Mary Cooper of Southern California and Mrs. Mattie Moody of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five nieces; and four nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in First Baptist Church, Berkley by the Rev. William Tyree III. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
