Luna Byrd Holoman, 87, of the 2500 block of Crabtree Court, died May 9, 1995, in her residence.
A native of Raleigh, N.C., she was the widow of George Chreston Holoman and was a member of Emmaus Four Square Gospel Church in Chesapeake.
Survivors include a daughter, Edna L. Holoman of Raleigh; a son, Dr. W. Chreston Holoman of Chesapeake; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh, by Dr. W. Chreston Holoman. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
