Lillian Brinkley Satchwell, 85, formerly of the 2700 block of Keller Ave., Norfolk, died Tuesday, May 9, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Satchwell was born in Portsmouth and was the daughter of the late Richard C. and Sallie Whitehorne Brinkley. She was the widow of Richard W. Satchwell. Mrs. Satchwell had been a film librarian with the Norfolk Public Schools for 17 years. She was a member of Fairmont United Methodist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include her daughter, Sara S. Cornette of Chesapeake; her son, Richard W. Satchwell of Norfolk; one sister, Katie Edmondson of Virginia Beach; and one granddaughter, Kelli C. Cornette of Charleston, S.C.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Wayne Snead. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairmont United Methodist Church.
