The 24th annual Ghent Art Show, a benefit for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, will be held Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Town Point Park.
Two hundred exhibitors from around the country will have works on display. The show, sponsored by Haynes Furniture, also will offer an array of performers all weekend.
Saturday's entertainment schedule includes the Evelyn Ott School of Dance, noon; Jim Bullit, 1 p.m.; Sue Witty, 2 and 3 p.m.; C Shells 3:45 p.m.; Kid's Open Mike, 4:15 p.m.; and Herringbone, 4:30 p.m.
Sunday's lineup features Amy Ferebee, noon; Magun Women's Drum Group, 1 p.m.; Kempsville High School Madrigals, 2 p.m.; Gymstrada, 3 p.m.; and Jim Newsom and the PorchRockers, 4 p.m.
All entertainers will perform in front of the mast at the small stage at Town Point Park. by CNB
