The Whalehead Preservation Trust and Currituck Wildlife Museum will unveil the first official portrait of The Whalehead Club and the first of a line of commemorative decoys during a reception to be held on the grounds of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
The reception will serve as the official celebration of the charter membership drive for the Currituck Wildlife Museum. The drive is scheduled to run through December.
