Evelyn V. Roberts, 81, of the 1500 block of Shelton Ave., died May 9, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Hospital after a long illness.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Marcia R. and Kenneth G. Pfeiffer of Huntington Beach, Calif. and Joyce F. Martin of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Michael and Jonathan Pfeiffer of Glendale and Huntington Beach, Calif., David Randall, and his wife, Tammy Randall, Lesley and Douglas Martin; and two great-grandchildren, Kevin Michael and Avery Elizabeth, all of Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Roberts, the widow of William F. Roberts, was a native of Newburyport, Mass., who resided in Norfolk for 43 years.
Private funeral services will be handled by Kellum Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
