WILLIAM I. SKEETER

William I. Skeeter, 72, formerly of the 1600 block of Lansing Ave., a retired merchant seaman, died May 6, 1995.

He was the widower of Elizabeth Skeeter and was a member of Mount Ararat United Church of Christ in Suffolk and Doric Lodge of Masons (NU)98. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two brothers, Benjamin Skeeter and George Skeeter; a sister-in-law, Mary E. Skeeter; a nephew, Lawrence Skeeter; and a host of cousins.

A funeral will be held at noon Saturday in Mount Ararat United Church of Christ, Suffolk. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Suffolk. The family will be at the residence. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
