FRANKLIN L. DAVIS

Franklin Lee ``Frank'' Davis, 33, of the 7400 block of Fenner St., died May 9, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Davis was born in Norfolk and was a stocker at the Naval Base Commissary and also worked for Goodwill Industries for eight years. He was a member of Liberty Temple (Sister Betty Johnson) in Norfolk, where he was also an ordained minister and a former Choir member. He was a graduate of Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk and the Woodrow Wilson Institution.

Survivors include his mother, Irene Davis of Elizabeth City; his father, Albert Davis of Richmond; three sisters, Jacqueline Davis, Priscilla Davis and Arlethia Griffin and four brothers, Allen Davis, ``Amp'' Davis, Timothy Griffin and Roosevelt Griffin, all of Norfolk; four aunts, an uncle, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Sherry.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in First Baptist Church Campostella by Elder Gregory Perry of Agape International Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at the church at 11 a.m. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
