ELIZABETH S. CLEMENTS

Elizabeth Skipper Clements, 71, of the 200 block of York Drive, died May 10, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she had lived in Portsmouth for 51 years and was a Baptist. She had worked at Be-Lo in Portsmouth and sold shoes at Smith & Welton's in Norfolk.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil Roger Clements; a daughter, Elaine Finn of Portsmouth; a son, Paul J. Burchett Jr., DDS, of Fayetteville, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Susan and Pat Burchett of Fayetteville and Haley Finn of Portsmouth.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Olive Branch Cemetery by Gerald L. Stemm, Minister. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
