AMERICA ISN'T SO BAD

Columnist Donald Kaul was charitable in describing that crew - Liddy, North, Falwell, etc., as right-wingers (``Right-wingers ought to be able to take it,'' Perspectives, May 2).

That's not how I would describe them.

Instead of being grateful for living in a country with free speech, they continue to spew their venom and laugh all the way to the bank. Perhaps if they visited Libya or another of those awful places, maybe they would figure it's not so bad here after all.
