Helena H. Clark, 79, died Thursday, May 11, 1995.
She was a native of Cheriton, Va., and had been a peninsula resident most of her life. Mrs. Clark retired from Philip Levy in 1974 after 30 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Eugene G. Clark.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty L. Parker of Portsmouth, Mabel H. Houts of Westville Grove, N.J.; one stepson, William Clark of Houston, Texas; a sister-in-law, Margaret P. Holland of Newport News; a niece, Iris B. Russell of Newport News. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Larry E. Burkholder and is survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Peninsula Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Peninsula Memorial Park by Dr. James E. White. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
