Richard Wayne Wagoner, 53, of the 200 block of Iroquois Road, a retired marine chief engineer, died May 9, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Wagoner was born in Greensboro, N.C. He retired from Lykes Brothers Steamship Co., New Orleans, La., after 29 years, was a member and usher at Atlantic Shores Baptist Church, member of the Virginia Beach Amateur Radio Club and was a 1964 graduate of the Maine Maritime Academy.
Survivors include his wife, Judith G. Wagoner; a daughter, Kimberly M. Wagoner of Virginia Beach; his mother, Tava R. Daughters of Long Beach, N.C.; a sister, Tina Miller of Long Beach, N.C.; and a brother, Kent Wagoner of California, Md.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Dr. George Sweet. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wing of Atlantic Shores Baptist Church. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
