Horace G. Walters, 94, of the 800 block of First Colonial Road, a retired purchasing agent, died May 11, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Walters was born in North Water Gap, Monroe County, Pa. He was the widower of Elizabeth D. Walters. While he lived in Pennsylvania he was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Minisink Hills, Pa.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy W. Young and her husband, Ronald A. Young of Virginia Beach; a son, Ronald S. Walters and his wife, Liselotte Walters of E. Patchogue, Long Island, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Rebecca E. Stack and her husband, Raymond J. Stack of Montpelier, Va., and Mark A. Young and his wife, Laurie E. Young of Wellsley, Mass.; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Thomas and Sarah Elizabeth Stack, both of Montpelier.
Funeral arrangements in Pennsylvania are pending. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling local arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kings Grant Presbyterian Church Food Bank, 745 Little Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452, or a charity of one's choice.
