JOHN DRAGSETH

John Dragseth, 94, of the 400 block of Russell St., died May 11, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Meldal, Norway, he was the widower of Leonora Neste Dragseth. He was a retired Portsmouth Public School teacher and director of Industrial Arts. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and a 60-year member of Naval Masonic Lodge (NU)100.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John N. and Arlene T. Dragseth of Suffolk; and a grandson, John T. Dragseth.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John's Episcopal Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Brian Hobden. The family will receive friends at 8000 Quail Hollow, Suffolk, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
