Sidney Elijah Harman III, 30, of the 1600 block of Sierra Woods Court, a restaurant chef, died May 11, 1995, in a Reston, Va., hospital.
Mr. Harman was a native of Portsmouth and a member of Park View Christian Church in Chesapeake.
Survivors include his mother and father, Judith and Sidney E. Harman Jr. of Chesapeake; a sister, Melanie Harman Everitt of Chesapeake; maternal grandparents, Mrs. Bessie Miller of Portsmouth and Steve Miller of Hopewell, Va.; and his dog, Blaze.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Park View Christian Church, Chesapeake, by Dr. Robert Danner and the Rev. Marilyn Danner. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
