Paul Reeves, 76, of the 1300 block of Edgewood Ave., died May 12, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Reeves was born in Mt. Olive, N.C. He retired from the Navy as a CPO hospital corpsman after 20 years, from civil service at N.N.S.Y., from the City of Chesapeake and was a retired farmer. He was a member of Lake Drummond Masonic Lodge (NU)178 AF & AM, Fleet Reserve Association and was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Mozingo Reeves; a daughter, Myra Meeks of Portsmouth; two sons, Timothy Paul Reeves of Portsmouth and Thomas A. Reeves of Chesapeake; three sisters, Marie Whitley of Wilson, N.C., Gladys Little and Louise Shoup, both of Goldsboro, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Bryant Cummings. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be accorded at the graveside.
