Clara W. Steffey, 77, of the 100 block of Holland Road, died May 13, 1995, in Bayside Hospital.
Mrs. Steffey was a native of the Eastern Shore. She was a housewife and was a member of Diamond Springs Christian Church in Virginia Beach.
She is survived by her husband, Ivan D. Steffey; two daughters, Sharon T. Baumgardner of Virginia Beach, and Cheryl L. Jefferson of Norfolk; two sons, William H. Barnes of Virignia Beach, and Gary D. Steffey of Chesapeake; one sister, Margaret L. Litchfield of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Edward R. Wiser of Florida, and Lawrence J. Wiser of the Eastern Shore; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a large extended family with many devoted friends.
The memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Diamond Springs Christian Church by Capt. Phil Holwager. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association. Flowers may be sent to Diamond Springs Christian Church.
