Steven Wilson Sorey Jr., six months, of the 2500 block of Circlewood Drive, died May 13, 1995, in his home.
He was born in Portsmouth, and is survived by his parents, Carolina Cain Sorey and Steven Wilson Sorey Sr.; one sister, Ashley Sorey of Chesapeake; his maternal grandmother, Darlene Jaramillo of Norfolk; his paternal grandmother, Brenda Brown of Elizabeth City, N.C.; and his paternal grandfather, Haywood Sorey of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Pete Taylor. Memorial donations may be made to the Steven Wilson Sorey Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o Brenda Brown, 401 Olde Lebanon Trail, Elizabeth City, N.C. 27909. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the home of Theresa Neely, 2230 Haywood Ave., Chesapeake. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
