Richard L. ``Dick'' Mayo Sr., 68, of Spotswood Ave., died May 14, 1995, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Norfolk and was retired from the retail business. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria F. Mayo; his son and daughter-in-law, Richard L. Mayo Jr. and Susan of Norfolk; one sister, Louise Wood of California; two brothers, Robert Mayo of California and John T. Mayo of Norfolk; and a grandson, Richard L. Mayo III of Norfolk.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Harold Thornton. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, Tuesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
