HENRY W. NACEY

Henry Walter Nacey, 69, of Virginia Beach, a retired international vice president of the International Brotherhood of Boiler Makers, Blacksmiths, Iron Ship Builders, Forgers and Helpers, and member of the local (NU)5 International Boiler Makers Union of New York City, died May 14, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Nacey, a native of Yonkers, N.Y., was the widower of Catherine Augusta Nacey. He attended Iona College and the University of Wisconsin. He was a graduate of the Harvard School of Business Trade Union Program.

Survivors include three daughters, Cathleen Marie Sleigh and her husband, Stephen T. Sleigh of Baltimore, Md., Ellen Elizabeth Nacey of Norfolk, Mary Margaret Schorken and her husbandm Carl A. Schorken of Lancaster, Calif.; two sons, Harry Walter Nacey and his wife, Theresa Ann Nacey of Virginia Beach, Timothy John Nacey of Virginia Beach; one brother, James J. Nacey of Beaver Dam, Ky.; one sister, Eleanor N. Carr of Yonkers, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren, Hank, Bridget and Molly Nacey, Erin and Casey Sleigh, Blake, Erik and Zach Schorken.

A chapel service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Andrew MacBeth. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be in the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
