Dorothy Allmond Ridgway, 69, of the 500 block of Nottingham Road, died May 14, 1995, in her residence.
A native of South Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Watson Vallines Allmond and Josephine Reddeck Allmond. She was a homemaker and member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Ridgway Sr.; two sons, Paul E. Ridgway Jr. of Norfolk and James W. Ridgway of Portsmouth; and a granddaughter, Jessica Ridgway.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Joseph G. Savinsky. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
