PRESTON W. VANN

Preston Willis Vann, 31, of Union City, N.J., died May 14, 1995, in St. Mary's Hospital, Hoboken, N.J.

Mr. Vann was born in Virginia Beach. He was a promoter for Supporting Cast of Madison Ave., New York City. He was a former member of Charity United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of O.D.U. He was predeceased by his mother, Bobbie Crawford Vann.

Survivors include father, William S. Vann of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Carol L. Evans of Knotts Island, N.C., Sherion Griffin of Carrolton, Ga., Myrom Riggs of Camden, N.C., and Joann Hill of Elizabeth City, N.C.; one brother, William Sherman Vann Jr. of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a very close and dear friend, Steve Cruz; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted Thursday, May 18, 1995, at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Tommy Markham in Charity United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel in charge. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. The body will be placed in the church at noon Thursday.
