ETHEL ELEY

Ethel ``Cuz'' Eley, 65, of the 5500 block of Godwin Blvd., died May 13, 1995, in Obici Hospital.

A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of Ruth N. Strong of Chesapeake and the late James O. Strong and was the widow of Robert L. Eley. She was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Patricia Walker of Chesapeake and Evelyn Eley of Suffolk; four sons, Robert Eley and Ronald Eley, both of Suffolk, James Eley of Hampton and Michael Eley of Smithfield; a sister, Alice Taylor of Philadelphia; a brother, Clarence Strong of Portsmouth; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Little Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Kim D. Shivers. Burial will be in Christian Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at noon Thursday. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge.
