E. Lou McCanna, a Catholic, died May 14, 1995, in Houston at the age of 64.
E. Lou was the former wife of the late Captain Red Dog McCanna and the mother of four surviving children, Brad, Trey, Kim and Charles; and eight grandchildren.
E. Lou exemplified the duties of a military wife and mother. She was loved and admired by many. She touched everyone who knew her with a special sense of compassion, support and acceptance. She will be greatly missed.
Arrangements are being made by Forest Park Funeral Home in Houston and the final resting site will be in Corpus Christi at Seaside Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 17. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
