2 CHARGED IN SLAYING

Two men were arrested over the weekend and charged with the drug-related killing Wednesday of a man in the parking lot of a business on Mercury Boulevard.

Police spokesman Donnie Moore said that at 8 p.m. Saturday, investigators acting on a Crime Line tip arrested Leopold Ashe, 20, of the 100 block of Locust Ave.

The next day Antoine R. Ebron turned himself in to police at 10:45 p.m.

Both men were charged with murder and using a firearm in a felony.

Samuel Kelly was shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of 2211 W. Mercury Blvd.
