Irene Chambers White, 90, of the 1400 block of Corprew Ave., died May 14, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. White was born in Statesville, N.C., and was the widow of John F. White. She was a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ, Berkley, Norfolk.
Survivors include a sister, Ina Lee Ricks of Norfolk; a grandchild, Thelma L. Hill-Braye of Norfolk; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many other survivors and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Mark United Church of Christ, Berkley, by the Rev. Thomas J. Hart. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The body will be in church at 11 a.m. Thursday. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge.
