Amelia Fern Radford, 61, of Virginia Beach, a school bus driver, died May 16, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Radford was born in Durham, N.C., and was employed with the City of Virginia Beach for the past eight years.
Survivors include her husband, Richard T. Radford; two daughters, Debbie Weisgarber and Darleen Henry, both of Florida; three stepdaughters, Michelle Sandavol of Illinois, Andrea Spence of Ohio and Leah Radford of Virginia Beach; four sons, Joseph Darden of Florida, David Darden of Illinois, Robert Darden of Norfolk and Jack Darden of Texas; a stepson, Richard T. Radford Jr. of Hawaii; three sisters, Peggy Miles of Chesapeake, Jeanne Potter of Florida and Linda Davis of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Glenn Thomas Jr. of Chesapeake and Elmer McCauley of North Carolina; six grandchildren and nine stepgrandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Warren Wilson. Burial will be at sea at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral, from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, South Hampton Roads Chapter, 101 W. Plume St., Norfolk. Va.
