Elizabeth Ann Johnson Barnard, 89, of the 2300 block of Cedar Road, died May 14, 1995, in the home of her daughter in Baltimore.
Mrs. Barnard was born in Norfolk County and was the widow of William T. Barnard. She was a member of New Light Baptist Church in Chesapeake.
Survivors include six daughters, Florida Riddick, Frances Bass and Wonza McCalvin, all of Pottstown, Pa., Janet A. Stewart of Baltimore, Gladys Rountree and Alice Gatling, both of Chesapeake; four sons, Charles Barnard of New Jersey, William Barnard of Norfolk, James Barnard and Pearlie Lee Barnard, both of Chesapeake; 65 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in New Light Baptist Church by the Rev. Ajack Scott Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Friday.
