Norma E. Riddick, 56, of the 1900 block of Rockwood Drive, died May 14, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Riddick was born in Portsmouth and attended Macedonia Baptist Church in Chesapeake. She was a former member of Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church in Portsmouth.
Survivors include her husband, William I. Riddick Sr.; five daughters, Denise Jones of Fort Drum, N.Y., Diana Eason, Deborah Lewis and Darlene Armstrong, all of Chesapeake, and Mary Newsome of Portsmouth; five sons, William I. Riddick Jr. of Nottingham, Va., Ronald J. Riddick, Bernard J. Riddick, Alfred D. Riddick and Otis Stitt, all of Chesapeake; her mother, Sarah B. Whitehead of Portsmouth; two sisters, Sharon Brittle and Carolyn Brooks, both of Portsmouth; a brother, Anthony Jones of Norfolk; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Macedonia Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. George Davis. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday.
