Ethan Allen Home Interiors, the home furnishings outlet in Norfolk, opened when South Military Highway was a two-lane road and Military Circle Shopping Center was merely a vision. Since then, the road has gradually widened, placing the store closer and closer to the pavement. This summer, the 35-year-old furniture store will close to make room for the road's expansion. The white, colonial-styled building, a Hampton Roads landmark, will shut down by July's end.
