Ermelinda Blackwell, 70, of Virginia Beach, died May 16, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Blackwell was born in Avellino, Italy. She was the widow of Clyde A. Blackwell.
Survivors include three daughters, Rita D. Garnett and Mary Blackwell, both of Virginia Beach, and Lillian Hollman of Columbus, Ga.; two sons, Paul Blackwell of Virginia Beach and Clyde Blackwell Jr. of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Arlington National Cemetery. A wake service will be at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road, and the family will receive friends following the service until 9 p.m.
