Dolly Tubbs was born March 15, 1904, in Stephenville, Texas. She had lived in Chesapeake for the past 75 years. She passed away May 17, 1995, at the age of 91.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruby Gracy. She is survived by four sons, William F. Tubbs of Virginia Beach, Fred Tubbs Jr. of New York state, Franklin H. Tubbs of Ivor, Va., and Don Tubbs of Chesapeake; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at Southside Baptist Church Saturday, May 20, 1995, at 11 a.m. Family will meet with her friends in the Fellowship Room after the memorial service. Any memorial donations should be sent to Southside Baptist Church, 1207 Perry St., South Norfolk, Chesapeake, Va. 23324.
