Armed robbery, Portland and Fitchett streets. The victim was riding a bicycle on Fitchett Street when a suspect approached him and displayed a small handgun and demanded that he be given the bike. Description of suspect: black male, 5 feet 9 inches, 200 pounds, wore a black shirt and black pants. May 1.
Strong-arm robbery, Park Avenue and Ohio Street. While walking through an alley, the victim was approached by a gray Cadillac from the early 1980s. The front passenger got out of the car and demanded that the victim take off his coat. When the victim refused, he was punched in the face and the coat was taken. Description of suspect: black male, late teens, 6 feet 2 inches, 200 pounds, wore a white T-shirt. May 1.
