A woman was critically hurt in a three-car crash during the morning rush hour Thursday at Witchduck Road and Weaver Drive, police said.
Mahalia A. Foreman, 48, was turning from Witchduck Road onto Weaver Drive shortly before 8 a.m., when her Ford sedan was struck by a Ford Explorer. The two vehicles then hit another car.
Foreman, of the 200 block of Nassau Drive, was flown by air ambulance to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
The driver of the truck that struck her, George A. Peebles, 52, of the 5400 block of Keystone Place was treated at another hospital and released.
The third driver wasn't hurt.
